When a SWE start a project, he don't need write unit tests for his classes?
James, I was wondering, when you say that SET positions are difficult to fit, do You mean that average SW engineers don't know how to test their code? or even if they are proficient creating unit tests (with mocks, fakes, matchers..), and even maybe end to end test cases using web driver or selenium, Google is looking forward to see a more specific abilities, like knowing how to create custom automated testing frameworks.. sort of a special "jUnit" executable to know how to run test suits in a custom manner? Thanks, Nicolas..
Letting the testers focus on what they have to do is for sure better than test modular and little projects.Test could be cheaper when errors are earlier found, but testing "ideas" could be more expensive.Good point!
Can't wait for the next part. I really like the way you work because it is an adaptive path.
